The Trailblazers conquered the DC area and learned so much!

We hit the ground running with a tour of the Federal Bureau of Printing and Engraving. The trailblazers got the opportunity to see how paper money is made. Then later, after a visit with a few animals and dinosaurs at the National Zoo, we ended day 1 with dinner on the National Harbor. Day 2 we spent the day at the National Museum for African American History and Culture. What an amazing experience! The trailblazers walked away with knowledge they were ready and excited to share. Day 3 was spent remembering Harriet Tubman. We visited the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitor Center in Church Creek, MD and the Harriet Tubman Museum and Educational Center which is home to the Harriet Tubman Mural in Cambridge, MD. Before we turned in for the evening we visited the Martin Luther King, Jr. and Lincoln Memorials on the National Mall and had dinner at Busboys and Poets. On Day 4, our last day, we stopped by the home of Frederick Douglass then had lunch at Ben's Chili Bowl before we hit the road for home, Atlanta, GA.
