A bilingual American attorney, she boasts extensive expertise in navigating the intricate legal terrains of sub-Saharan Africa and the USA. Notably, as a permanent resident of The Republic of Senegal for the past five years, Attorney King has made Senegal her home, demonstrating her enduring dedication to the country. Her commitment is further evidenced by her ownership of Africa Wealth Alliance, a legal firm registered both in Senegal and the USA, notably located in Petit Senegal. Here, Attorney King adeptly handles the complexities of cross-border legal practice.
 

Armed with a Juris Doctorate specializing in International Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Rights with a concentration in Africana Studies, Attorney King's academic achievements underscore her steadfast commitment to addressing global issues. During her tenure at the Legal Resources Center in South Africa, she had the privilege of receiving training from George Bizos, the esteemed attorney of Nelson Mandela, highlighting her profound commitment to championing human rights and advocating for justice.Throughout her illustrious career, Attorney King has made significant contributions to esteemed institutions such as DLA Piper in Senegal, the Mission of Senegal to the United Nations, and the Senegalese Embassy in Washington DC. Moreover, her involvement with the Council on Foreign Relations underscores her dedication to shaping global policy and making a lasting impact.

Beyond her legal prowess, Attorney King's philanthropic efforts shine brightly. Her pro bono work, including assistance to Francophone African asylum seekers in New York through the African Services Committee and support for African asylum seekers via Sanctuaries for Families, exemplifies her unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes. Currently, she collaborates with Senator Cordell Clear, providing invaluable support to Senegalese migrants in New York, solidifying her reputation as an exceptional legal luminary. Additionally, it is an honor for Attorney King to partner with The Village Center for Culture & Character, Inc., in providing pro bono asylum representation for Senegalese migrants who have taken the Nicaragua route. Leveraging her expertise in Senegal, she assists them with their asylum applications, further demonstrating her dedication to supporting and advocating for marginalized communities.
